We pick up this session 5 miles away from the fate dragon.
Behind the dragon is the white marble doors. The doors themselves look like they were broken open from the inside to the outside by claws. It also appears to be holding an orb of some sort. It has liquid visible inside it's head.
Toshi plays it a song that introduces us.
The dragon approaches Toshi and casts Mind Link. The dragon's name is Vespera. She is a female dragon. She is part of a group that is trying to gain entrance to this tomb. The group she is with are followers of Magnus, and are from Blackstar. She gives us the impression that she already knows who we are. She says our names, including referencing Laramie by his real name. She saw the destruction of the train. The mirrors under her wings are windows both into the future and the past.
Toshi asks how we can help. Vespara tells us that we can go inside the doors behind her if we want.
Samara asks about what is happening on her finger. Vespara pauses for a moment. She tells Samara that it isn't her secret to share, and smiles. It's an uncomfortable smile.
Jerrex attempts recall knowlege on the claw marks on the door. All he can tell is that a large creature created these claw marks when trying to get into the doors.
We decide to enter through the hole in the doors. We are amazed by how thick the doors are. It turns out that it is cool temperatured and not dark inside the chamber. There are 20-something robed figures inside. It smells like there was just a fresh rain storm.
We eventually make our way to the large tent in the chamber. It is very obvious that this place is a temple to the deity known as Zephyrus. There is a desk in the center of the tent. It is set up precariously on a pile of rocks. On the desk is a slender elven woman with her eyes closed. She is a librarian. Samara passes her a note that introduces us. She approaches us and states that we are 3 days late. She was expecting us. Toshi starts picking some music. The librarian immediately silences him.
We start asking about the orbs of Zephyrus. She is aware of a few existing.
At the top of a tall door in the room are 3 dull spheres.
The librarian's name is Aeloria Thalor.
We greet the dragon again. She flys Toshi away. When she lands, she stops him. She wants him to open the orb that is supplying water to the town below. She then takes off to scare some people in the town away before the flood comes. She uses a breath weapon to display a bad omen in the sky, images of the town flooding. Toshi opens the stone, and flees before the water takes over the tower. He attempts to get to high ground. He's eventually picked up by the dragon. As they are flying away, they can see the water crashing down over the down below.
Toshi and the dragon fly back to the rest of the group. They share with the group what just happened.
When Toshi enters the chamber, the second door on the far end opens. We go down to see what's inside. A large staircase brings us down. There's another desk in the middle of the room. Exia immediately alerts us that we are not alone in the room. Toshi casts Light and we can now see.
We roll for initiative.
We successfully kill all of the suits of armor.
We start searching the room. We find a single key in the desk. We use it on the gate at the far end of the room. The gate opens. Beyond the gate, we light the torches in the room.
In the middle of the next room is a 3-foot tall purple mushroom. There is another animated suit of armor in the next room. We decide to backtrack, close the gate, and rest for the night before proceeding.
The next day, we re-enter the room. As we get closer to the suits of armor, they don't come to life like the other ones did.
At the end of the hallway, there is a circular room. As we get closer we start to feel really off. There is a lot of negative energy coming from this room. As we look inside, there is a giant doorframe in the middle of the room. The door is ajar, and a bright light is coming from it. We send Exia inside to close the door. As soon as he closes it, we all feel fine again. But... As soon as the door is closed, we hear a weird noise down at the other end of the hall.
